Newly built hot rod using glass fibers or bodies of the more expensive steel, the new printer. Ford’s 1932 classic lines close again with the new bodies. Sometimes original bodies are used, but the original cost is quite high. 1933 Ford is also a popular starting point for building a hot rod.

Because the 1932 Ford was very popular with hot rodders, modified versions of the extraordinary rare.

1939 Mercury Convertible 239 CID Flathead

Civilian production resumed in July 1945, with an early start to the 1946 model year filling the public’s thirst for new cars. The 1946 Ford was identical to the 1942 model under the skin, though a heavy new grille with horizontal bars and red accents modernized the car somewhat. One notable change was to use the 239 CID engine which since 1939 had been used in Mercury and Trucks,and capable of 100 hp (75 kW)for the first time. With steel in short supply, Ford produced a distinctive “Sportsman” convertible with wood side panels.

Ford line of cars was updated in 1937 with a major change – the introduction of an entry-level 136 CID (2.2 L) V8, in addition to the popular 221 CID (3.6 L) V8 unit.

The 1937 Ford Coupe model was a refresh of its predecessor, itself based on Ford’s V8-powered Model 40A and was the company’s main product. It was redesigned more thoroughly in 1941.

1949 Dodge Pickup

The Dodge brothers (John and Horace) got their start making parts for Ford and other makers. From the first Dodge Brothers automobile in 1914, the Dodge brothers’ durability and quality earned their company a strong reputation and good sales. They did not build an actual truck until World War I, though, and that was a panel van, not a pickup – with a half-ton capacity and a 35 horsepower – gross, not net! – four cylinder engine.

1948 Bristol 400 Coupe is a British luxury sports cars, manufactured by Bristol Aeroplane Co. between 1948 and 1953.

In 1948 Bristol 400 Coupe styling was a huge advance on the pre-war bodies of the first Bristol model. It was inspired by the Milanese designer, Carrozzeria Touring

The 1948 Bristol 400 Coupe is most notable feature was that the door handles were not exposed, and to open the doors the owner pressed a button in a groove in the door. The body was also more spacious than the 400 and was a full five-seater.

The 1940 Jaguar SS100 is a British 2-seat sports car built between 1936 and 1940 by SS Cars Ltd of Coventry, England.

The last one is thought to have been delivered in 1941. In 1936 the name Jaguar was given to a new saloon car and from then on to all the cars. Following the Second World War, because of the connotations then attached to the initials “”SS”, the company was renamed Jaguar.
